cheesemaster Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I can't get the link to open. However I did see a huge spot was caught in California that is new world record size. Probably the same article. That sure would be fun to have tugging on the line.
96 CHAMP Posted December 3, 2015 Author Posted December 3, 2015 Ya, that's it, I reckon my link didn't link, that is one big spot, could you imagine pulling that out of TR

dtrs5kprs Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Saw it in bass blaster this week. They also really whacked big largemouth. Guess they aren't killing spots to make the lm population better... Quillback, uofastudent, abkeenan and 3 others 6
Moswimb8slinger Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 No they're not killing them, they feed them trout.lol (Even though this 11lbs 4oz beast,on the left, was caught on a shakeyhead, i believe). Unfortunately, nobody from the CA DFG (DNR in Missouri) was able to come out and certify it. There's pics of it on 3 different scales. shark bait 1

The other part was a reference to Stockton. magicwormman 1
abkeenan Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Pretty sad when you are holding up an 8lb spot and it looks like it MIGHT just measure compared to your buddies 11lb behemoth. Why do I not live in California?
Moswimb8slinger Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I think they were either at Bullards Bar or Berryessa. Bullards is where the last 2 records came from.
