MOPanfisher Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Norm there is a very simple solution. Give me a call I will go fishing with you and happily take pics for you. Can have you in or out of the pic whatever you prefer. Did I mention I would be fishing too?
timinmo Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Norm It is your post, make it anyway you like. If some do not like it they are free not to read it. I for one enjoy your posts and can paint any picture I want, without photos. Mitch f and BilletHead 2
Ham Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 While I fully understand that photographs add to a trip report and I enjoy seeing them myself, I do not understand the repeated implication that people that don't have photographs that document their trip are dishonest. The "pics or it didn't happen" attitude is not justified in any sense. The reader is not owed anything and the people that chose to post aren't obligated in any way to supply you content. I had a very successful year in 2015. I made a lot of really fun trips. I have chosen to post a lot less fishing reports because of crappy people and their crappy attitudes. I guess those trips didn't happen because I didn't post a trip report complete with lots of pretty pics. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Mitch f Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Give a thread enough rope and it will eventually hang itself....... FWIW, I always really love Norm's reports! Ham, I really don't think anyone is implying that Norm is fabricating his story.....we just like pictures plain and simple. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

I went this way a long while back too. Nothing worse than getting dogged on the internet about a fishing report or whatever. I like any post someone is willing to share, pics or not Thanks, Norm. Norm M Posted December 24, 2015 Author Posted December 24, 2015 ever stop to consider that those cave paintings over in france may be a post hunt tribute to the gods . BilletHead and drew03cmc 2 what a long strange trip it's been , put a dip in your hip, a glide in your stride and come on to the mother ship , the learning never ends
