cheesemaster Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 26 hours and the lake has gone down 1 foot. They have slowed the cfs again so at this rate it will be several weeks before back to pool. I don't have great patients so this sucks for me.
Ham Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Bull Shoals in up 19 plus foot. Norfork is up about 16 or so. I won't be complaining when they at least crest. It appears they are going to keep dropping Beaver and Table Rock until Bull Shoals is up to 684. 25 foot higher than the last time I fished it. After Bull hits 684, they will probably limit releases from Table Rock to no more than what Bull can release. It's going to be a Long, Long time before Bull Shoals is low enough to be easily accessed. marcus 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Ham 25 high is better than 40 i guess! My glass is obviously half full
Ham Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 I'm good as long as I can get on the water. Fish24/7 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Quillback Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Looking at my notes from last year, they took TR down to 909 in early February. Makes me wonder if that is the target for early spring to create room for spring rains.
MOPanfisher Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Once the big rivers drop to where Bull can release there will be lots of megawatts going down river from beaver, TR, taney, and BS, plus stockton, Truman and loz, heck they should give electricity away this winter. shark bait and tapout 2
mixermarkb Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Except they won't give those megawatts away, they will hold as much water as they can and pray for a dry spring. I only hope they don't miscaculate and flood people again when they have to open gates for a three day rain event. Guest Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Its a strong El Nino year, wth are they doing? They had their chance to pull beaver back down & got greedy. At least it would've crested before coming thru the gates. You cant gamble on a dry spell for a very long time. flood stage is here for the duration in 2016. IMO Oh, we should hold water for a dry spell. thats wreckless & wanton waste The forecast this week: rain & snow, then chance of rain, then rain.
