Was he fishing a sloping bank, chunk rock or bluff end? What was the water temp and visibility. Gotta know these things!

stupid people do stupid things like dressing head to toe in lethal weapons and using them to kill carp while skiing/boarding

I think they should trap shoot them. Get in a backwater, bang on the ground with shovels and hammers to make them jump, then BAM! Organic clay shooting.

Dave, you may be in Kansas, but you definitely got some Arkansas redneck in you.

I saw a photo of a boat once rigged to do it.  Big wide boat with two seats up front.  One guy in each seat holding shotguns.  Looked like a great way to get killed but I am more than willing to try it if given the chance.

I consider myself a temporary Kansan. Maybe I should apply for migrant benefits. I'm just taking longer to migrate.

Believe I'd cut that back to one shooter and call it good. Don't think you would have to be moving at any significant speed. Just idle speed will make them jump. What a garbage fish.

I'd like to make it legal to shoot them with a shotgun, just make it non-lead just like waterfowl hunting. I shoot them (or try to), out of the air with a bow in creeks off the Kansas River. It's a lot of shooting and not much hitting, but it's still a lot of fun and every once in awhile I'll even connect with one.
