Trav Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 There isnt a single person I like with either party. Bernie is an independent. bkbying89 and Buzz 2 "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
Ham Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I really believe that the DNC will do everything in their power to keep Bernie from being the democratic nominee. Both parties get way too much soft money from Wall Street for either party to run a person that plans to destroy Wall Street. But besides that, your man Bernie doesn't understand the difference between a secured loan and an unsecured loan and why most lenders require a higher interest rate on the unsecured loan. He also has some really wacky ideas about why people are in jails. Hint: He believes its because they want to have a high occupancy rate in the prisons. I get the desire to break the wheel and start over, but check your man Sanders out top to bottom before you swing that lever. gotmuddy and Brian Jones 2 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. fishinwrench Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Piss on all that! I think we should choose based on how hot the wife is. I haven't seen Bernie's wife.....but I don't think I need to. marcus 1
jtram Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 That is one of the scariest things that I have ever read. Flysmallie 1
Mark Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 We are at an all time low with presidential candidates and politicians in general. Debates are a joke. One minute to answer questions on complicated issues result in same ol' canned campaign party rhetoric and nothing of substance - just say what people want to hear and speak in general terms only - it's theater with bad actors. Really doesn't matter - Congress runs the country and lobbyists and big money runs Congress. God help us!! Brian Jones 1

The longer we listen the stupider we all get. Trust me, just pick the hottie.

SpoonDog Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 The only Republican debate I've watched was last night's, specifically because Trump wasn't there. I dunno if boob is one of the words you can't say on here, but man- Trump strikes me as the definition of a boob. I get that he appeals to one's inner four year olds, but it was nice he took a time out and let the adults talk. The compliment sandwich: Bush didn't have a whole lot to say, but he looked presidential saying it. Couldn't really get a read on Rubio or Rand Paul. Christie reminded me of the kid who's surprised he's just been called on to spell sheriff, Ben Carson seemed truly bewildered. Kasich seemed reasonable, and as much as I fundamentally disagree with Ted Cruz's politics, he seemed the most polished and prepared of all of them. I like bernie and I think a lot of his policies and positions are focused on actual problems instead of manufactured ones. I think it's pretty impressive what he's been able to do, given a stacked deck, essentially zero support from the DNC, and basically ignored by the media. I dunno that it'd be wise the DNC put all their money on Hillary when she's such a toxic brand to so many Americans, but I could definitely see them doing it. Buzz and mjk86 2
