I remember being a teenager when you showed me the pictures from that day Rick! The fly you had laying on a dime and it was half the size. What a beast. It's on the wall at plateau and river runners. If I'm not mistaken.

14lb 10 ounces.  April 1977.  I caught a 10 lber the cast before it.  Jointed rebel.  The next weekend I lost one bigger than this one.  Al, as several others, should know where it came out of.  "They" thought with the daily fluctuations of water, the stripers might reproduce.  I know it is a miniscule striper in these days, but when I look at it I can still remember it all.

21 pound grass carp on the fly rod many years back. Have not weighed fish over fifteen pounds because of limit on the scales I have. That will change maybe because fifty pound scales now . Nice fish everyone! This is a neat thread. Impressive to say the least.   To Marcus, looks like you and that fish may have wrestled in the riverbank mud,

yeah muscled him in in like 45 seconds after i hooked him he still had a lot of fight in him he beat the crap out of me i only weight 150 pounds and im 5' 8'' so yeah we wrestled but i still won!
