Aunts creek 2/11/16

Put in at aunts creek around 945, didn't go far, water has a definite stain to it.

Fished 945-1 only one keeper, and one other short. caught the keeper on 3/8oz football head and orange/green flake hula grub in about 20-25ft with the boat sitting in 35ft.

short fish caught on 5/16 Jewel finesse jig in MO craw, tiny paca chunk trailer green pumpkin/w chart. dyed claws.

Tossed the A-rig a little till my elbow started hurting, same way with the RK crawler.

Didn't get any love on the Jerkbait either, but i need some lessons on it.

Sure beats working!

sorry forgot to add that. Temps ranged from 43.5 - 46

Got a very good friend and one of the best fishermen on the Rock.  He also guides some, not as much as he used to.  He put in at Aunts and fished 4 hrs. from there toward Kimberling City and SKUNKED.   He called and asked " What's Up."  Dirty cold water it is really hard from point 11 to point 5, I'd stay away if I could
