jdmidwest Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Spring is coming too fast. It needs to slow down some or a big frost will brown things up pretty bad. Things are a few weeks ahead. I have maple leaves coming out here. People are mowing yards. Willows are green. I bet there is still a winter bite coming. BilletHead Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Hey Marcus they were gobbling here on the Western part of the state today . At noon they were waltzing through my back yard, BilletHead "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" BilletHead Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Actually Marcus I have heard turkeys gobble year around. Another thing I like your enthusiasm, keep it going young man. I still get that giddy feeling when different seasons arrive. Will hope this lasts many years for all of us. When that feeling ends I suppose we will be playing checkers in the park, bingo at the bingo parlor, a old folks home, dead or in my case a psychiatric facility! MOPanfisher Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Mother Nature has a delayed sense of humor. Apparently she still thinks it is April Fools day, gave me 4 nice morels in 5 minutes, luring me into a 2 hour trek though the briar looking for more. Wondered why I kept hearing faint laughter during my little jaunt. My knees are not happy with me right now. trythisonemv, bfishn, tho1mas and 5 others 8
