chi0082 Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Excuse my ignorance, but I've never heard of this type of tournament where you weigh in bass every hour. Are you not fishing for the heaviest limit of bass? Or is it more geared towards the biggest bass per hour? I've read the rules and am still confused as to how this tournament is run and how a winner is determined. Can someone enlighten me?
Big Bass Tour Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 It's a big bass event (one fish). Anglers fishing the event bring their bass to the scales hourly to weigh in and see how they fare. We pay 10 places per hour for 7 hours each day. The overall big bass of the event wins the first place hourly cash and also a new boat. chi0082 and bobby b. 2
eyedabassman Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 You don't have to weigh a fish in if you have one ( or more ) . You can pick what hour you want to bring your fish in to the scale. Just watch the updates on your phone and see where your fish would fit in! marcus and crazy4fishin 2
Members BiteMeBaits Posted March 28, 2016 Members Posted March 28, 2016 I've got an open back seat on Sunday if anyone wants to fish or knows of anyone. I'll put in at mill creek or state park I'm sure. Text me 417-300-9872 because I don't check this every day.
Longball22 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Important to note you can only have a maximum of three fish in your possession at any time. Champ188 1

Pepe Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Wow! I expect to be at the lake, but with 300 extra boats it might be a good time to get some chores done and fish during the week. Im blessed to have that option sometimes. It would be great if we could embrace the technology that would allow release-in-place like MLF and reduce relocating so many big fish so close to spawn. eyedabassman, InPiney and OldMillRoad 3
Longball22 Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Yes, 3 per person. My interpretation would be that this means 2 in the livewell per person if you're still actively fishing. 3 and you'd better be headed for the scales...

I don't see why you could not have 3 in the livewell and cull? No different with elites having 5 in the livewell and culling but please correct me if I am wrong. eyedabassman and Hunter53 2
