Ktchn.  thanks for posting, fishing has been spotty here and your son and his friend did a great job of figuring it out.  Table Rock forum for the Black Bass Species on the Rock is a catch and release forum to share information and activity on your bass fishing trips to the Rock or to ascertain information about fishing here.  I enjoyed seeing how well the boys did.

Lets all take a step back and not make assumptions about the disposition on photo's  On the other hand lets take and share photo's that show fish in a natural catch and release setting on the water, away from land.

We are not going to get into any debates on the subject this year.  We have been operating at an extreme high level and we are going to maintain that.  We more than welcome any new members and always love to share or hear stories of great catches as well as those days we just go fishing.

Keep er going guys, we are going to have a fantastic year.

Good Luck

Bill Babler has been the prime moderator for this forum since the beginning, now in our 11th year.  And I've given him authority to do just about everything he wants to as far as governing what's posted and what's not.  We differ at times but we always work it out.

I would have to say that we should not create an environment here such that the poster, especially new members, needs to check the check list before posting opinions and/or images before posting.

But use common sense.  History tells us DON'T post pics of you cleaning bass or bass on a stringer... not on this forum.  Mr. Babler and 99% of the members here will blow a gasket.  Agree or disagree, that's the way it is.  Yes, you have the right to do so but I would suggest discretion.

You also have the right to speak your mind as to catch/release but, again, I would suggest discretion.  Just because you have the right to say it doesn't mean you have to.

And then there's Bill's statement about taking pics of fish in their natural setting.  I have to respectfully disagree, at least of the assumption he's referring to the pictures of fish taken on a boat ramp.  If this is the new standard, then all the fish pics taken at tournament weigh-in's are not worthy of OAF.  Stringer - I wouldn't suggest it.  Taken in driveway at home - better preface it by stating you're taking them back to the lake as soon as you show the wife (especially a smallie or pregnant spot).

This all started with an assumption -- which could have been avoided if a question was asked instead of an assumed statement.  "Were they released?"  The answer would have been "yes" and the world would have kept spinning without being jolted off its axis.  (I jest).

And lastly, THANKS FOR JOINING AND POSTING THIS WONDERFUL REPORT AND GREAT PICTURES!!!  Hope we see more very soon!!
