Members wmander Posted March 27, 2016 Members Posted March 27, 2016 Every year I make it a personal choice to fish on my birthday. My home lake is Beaver lake, Arkansas but my favorite it Table Rock. Sorry, just saying. My birthday, my choice! Anyway, my 3 buddies from Hot Springs, AR (Lake Ouachita) met here. The Rock never disappoints. Best 3 were 5.8, 6.01 & 7.02lbs ! Personal best for your lake- 7.02. Thanks for the good trip. Pig sooie! Trying to post a couple pics. Maybe I'll figure it out. magicwormman, Sore Thumbs, abkeenan and 2 others 5
eyedabassman Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 What did you hit them on? I would say A-RIG?
Members wmander Posted March 27, 2016 Author Members Posted March 27, 2016 Nope, not A-rig. Caught a few on it but not my style. All in less than 4 ft of water. RK & wobble head with craw. Good luck. Donna G 1

I hear you. The launch I use for fishing on Beaver is 1/4 mile from my garage door, yet we end up going to TR quite a bit. Just a better bass fishery, for whatever reason. Glad you had a good day on the rock, and happy birthday. Champ188 1 John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
merc1997 Bo Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 really nice bass. sure glad to see some 5+ begin to show up. bo
chi0082 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Another angler making it sound easy. I read your reports, go out and catch a bunch of dinks or catch a whiff of skunk-bass. Obviously you guys know a little more about bass fishing than me. On the other hand, I know where to catch big walleyes, and that's a secret I will bring with me to the grave. hehe. I'm still learning bass fishing. It's a total different game. Nice fishing fellas! Glad you guys got into some toads. Donna G 1

I can understand on a small creek or stream, but on table rock? I dont get it. Angling cameras in such a way so as to not show the back ground, scratching the trees/docks out of the back ground. Makes no sense to me on a 50 thousand acre reservoir. Maybe its improper forum etiquette or something to give up your fishing spot, but i happily tell folks exactly where i can catch em. Its def nice to help someone out who is struggling to catch em. Also....if your on big walleyes at table rock...id say your skills are good enough to find bass. Stay on em!! Post some pics!! But, for heavens sake, dont let us see the spot your fishing in the back ground. Hammer time, marcus, Codywskeeter1521 and 2 others 5
