Hog....whatever..... it's on the long list. Too many others in line ahead it right now.  I've never doubted it had great fish in it. It's funny that for years and years all we heard was how the spots decimated the smallmouth. How the giggers cleaned out the large smallmouth every winter. How the poachers kept every smallmouth the caught. I stood against those arguments and it made me the crazy guy that had no clue what he was talking about. 

And then you came along a proved everything I was saying. The fish are there. Not in massive numbers, never have been never will be, but they are there. You just keep doing what you are doing. A lot of people are giving you two thumbs up and laughing on the inside.

It could be better     It should be better

it is realllly fat, and to say the posters stuck their nose up at the record is just enticing a back lash and is  a total illusion of reality, what are you the mainstream media?, he stated that the fish is nearly all food and possibly eggs and not as long as some of the nice ones weve  probaly all seen that werent records. nice fish nice record , take a chill pill have a tati everyone,  do ur bit just dont burn the place down.

No one is sticking their nose up at the record, that fish is very nice. It's just a freak of nature

I think I've seen a picture of the Missouri record Smallmouth that Kevin Clingan caught on Stockton in 1994.  If I remember right it was really obscenely fat like that one too, most likely full of eggs and food.

Yes but the fish was well over 22" long
