marcus Posted May 14, 2016 Share Posted May 14, 2016 spent 3 hrs fishing around ameristar casino spent the first hour throwing a casting net looking for bait with no luck. beached the boat on the bank and got out the old sonny's stink bait and caught 3 fish 2 keepers nice day to be on the water been a while since i fished that area. casted in about 10 feet of water in a seam where slack water and current meet had bites the whole time... looks like were frying up fish for lunch tomorrow Greasy B, Phil Lilley, BilletHead and 3 others 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've seen several big fish come out of the hole north of the barge. The current cuts in there close to the bank. I think that guy had his lines to far out past the hole itself.
