Fished all day except for 2 hours off for lighting precaution. 6:15 to 8:45.  Caught 83 and lost 3 whopper ploppers. Took my 15 y/o son. Had a great day.   Most on top,  spook and WP , few on the Ned, and one on biffle bug. Swim bait caught a few.

8 of the total were 3 lb plus. White or maybe hybrid bass. Only 2 smallmouth.

He had a better time than it looks from his face  lol

:huh:B):D wish I could have a day of fishing like that, now I know how charlie brown feel's. After reading about a great trip like that, I wonder why can't I catch that many. I should sell my boat and buy a new shinny bowling ball & some cool shoes & try a different sport!!! Congrats on a great day.

I was also. Carried a ave in the 190's. But there was never a time that bowling could ever hold a candle to fishing. I do not look at fishing as a competition. It is something in my sole that been there my entire life. Catching is not importnt either anymore. It s just being out thereoing it.
