Champ188 Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 You guys are in a totally different world up there around Holiday Island. Because of the influx of cool water from Beaver Dam, water temps along with oxygen and pH levels are much different than in other parts of the lake. Enjoy it but understand that not all areas offer the same luxuries. Hammer time and magicwormman 2

Maybe make everything between Beaver and 86 bridge a trophy area where no jetskis, wake boats, or water skiers are allowed; make all bass except spots under 15 inches catch and release; all fishermen other than those who live within 1 mile of the designated water must participate in a monthly lottery for limited fishing permits which cost $10. Yeah! Who's with me on this. magicwormman, Champ188 and Ham 3
Champ188 Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I know 100% that the first KVD Big Bass Tour derby on Table Rock in 2010 was won above Holiday Island. The fellow who won it and his dad are both lifelong friends from Hot Springs. The tournament was in June that year and Brady's fish weighed 6.98. magicwormman 1

I think the folks that have been quietly fishing that stretch for decades before you arrived might have something to say about that. (But they probably won't, given their humble nature). I can't dance like I used to.

Yeah! Who's with me on this. Well except for the property requirement, I could agree.
