I usually wait until tournament day to do that. It gets me to the culling stage a lot faster.

And if you believe that ....

Two rods.

You mean to tell me you haven't tried a double, triple or quadruple rigged Ned? I find that hard to believe. I thought you were Mr. Hoover and vacuumed up any and all fish with the lil' guy. Maybe step your game up to a Dyson. Way better.

I've thought about it, but have fought the urge so far.

Fighting your inner crappie chaser? I could picture you set up in Schooner with spider "ned" rigs ablazin'. When all lines were set I would imagine you would make the same evil mastermind cackle as you did when you ran over poor Punxsutawney Phil.

I'd like to throw all of my 90s in a cedar. They are about as inconsistent as redfins. The 130s run like champions. Of about a half dozen 90s, the only one that runs consistently is one my daughter picked out on the way to the lake in June. It runs as well as a 130.

I have to wonder if increased demand has them making the ploppers a little too quickly.

I only have 20 or so of the 90's, but all of mine run perfect and catch fish as good as any bait I have ever fished.  I did have a tail stop once on a 130 and it was wrapped with a small 1 inch strand of braid.  Was a bugger to get out of there but when I did, it came back to perfect life.

Dave just looks for any excuse to put up any rod and grab his Ned'er.

Man, I wish we'd had similar results. Ours are all inconsistent, with the one exception. I'll probably stick with the 130s. I have another new pet I like more than either size plopper. It shall remain nameless ;).
