Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 22, 2016 Root Admin Posted July 22, 2016 Not sure exactly when this happened but it was late yesterday before they shut down generation. No bodies in the trees... a rag in the boat with some blood on it. Called MWP. Location: just across the lake from Short Creek on the bluff. Makes me think he was underway AFTER dark because you can see the tops of trees/bluff above the fog in daylight hours. He wasn't going FULL throttle I don't think or it would have been much worse, as in injury and damage.
MOPanfisher Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Holy Crap, that is not going to buff out. ramman123 1
crazy4fishin Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Wow - I sure hope all are ok.....I didn't see the rear nav. light either. This is a perfect example of why I putt along when there is fog / dusk/ dark on that lake C4F Crazy4fishinA Cornhusker
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 22, 2016 Author Root Admin Posted July 22, 2016 He dropped something and leaned down to get it... don't know about low light conditions - could have been good light. Regardless, stitches in his leg and facial scratches. He was fortunate.
Gatorjet Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Doesn't look like it was at night, no stern navigation light post in the socket. Unless he was also running without lights. Looks like something we do with Gators. 'Cept we just push 'em off the rocks and keep going. Real men go propless!
