3 weeks after I installed my front axle guess what happened? You got it. My back one went out. Luckily Tami at UFP had already sent me one for the rear free of charge. Like I told Champ. I'm not mechanically inclined but I can change axles like a pro now. If anyone ever has a problem with their EZ Loader trailer find out who made the axles and call them directly. UFP replaced both at no charge. My trailer is an 07. That is great customer service in a time where that is rare. Tami Jones at UFP is fantastic and deserves praise.  Tried 10 different ways to flip this picture and it won't work. Sorry

How do you work on that upside down???

Actually it's easier that way..then your not laying under it..you can stand up and work on it.

I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything!

How long does it take to replace it? The first time you did it.

3 hrs for the first one and 2 hours on the second one. Getting the hubs off the axle is by far the hardest part. Lots of prying, hammering and spreading. 10 years of being in and out of water takes its toll

+1 on the excellent customer service from UFP.

Dennis, "DABS" who moderates the BBC Trailers and Towing forum and is a UFP warranty and customer service supervisor,  is a tremendous help as well.  As a card carrying member of the mechanically challenged, I sure appreciate the kind of assistance available from folks like him.
