There's a new Tackle shop that just opened in Kimberling City behind the recently re-built and expanded Rapid Robert's.  It's next door to Gordie's now-closed hardware store on the North end of the shopping mall and I think it's called Cletus tackle shop.  They were closed Sunday evening so I couldn't go in an check them out and they are apparently so new there is no signage other than in the front window as yet.

I went in there last week, they are just getting started with a limited supply of everything.

Met the owner seems like a good guy.

Will just have to see how things work out.

We were there last week. Real nice guy. As said had a limited supply but was working on getting things ordered. Hope things work out for him!

That makes three on this side of the lake between Branson West and Kimberling Cit -   the other two - Ozark Thunder off of James River Rd and Extreme behind Urichs.  No more trips to BPS???

Service at that one was spotty.   Some people had great service.  Others were met by surliness from the owner.

Yep. I went in twice. Once with my wife and once with my brother. Both times felt very unwelcome. First time browsed around but felt like I was being watched the entire time - like I was a shoplifter. Second time I asked about some specific jig trailers I was looking for and thought I was an extra in Good Fellas. Guy looked at a couple of other guys that were hangin' out (obviously regulars) and they all started laughing like I asked if they could give me directions to the moon. Walked out and never went back. Good riddance I say.

That place did always have a strange sorta vibe going on.  Like walking into a gas station in extreme rural missouri...the 4 people in there all appear to be related, and only 1 of them is actually "at work".  They all just kinda stare in painfully awkward silence....Get your beverage and snacks (something that is 100% sealed and prepackaged), gas up and get out.
