Way back, when ciders first started showing up, I tried a couple: Crispin and Woodchuck. I really liked the Crispin but Woodchuck was sickeningly sweet. I haven’t seen Crispin in years so I looked them up a while back. It seems they went out of business, but somebody bought them a few years back and planned to revive it. Well, they did and after a year or so they have now showed up in KC.

I bought some, knowing it might not be the same or it might not suit my tastes now. But dang, this is nice!! Try it, you’ll like it !

Just got back from a vacation to Ireland, first trip. Tried several Irish Whiskeys. We to a couple distilleries and decided I like Redbreast 12 year old, straight.  Went to Teeling and enjoyed the stuff. Had a good time at the Guinness brewery and enjoyed eating lunch there. We to a place called the Whiskey Reserve in Dublin and they had a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 23 year old. I was $400 a shot or you could buy the rest of the bottle, about 80 percent full, for $7500. Needless to say I did not buy any. Have been able to buy the Redbreast here in Oklahoma.

We did Ireland a couple years back. Spent a couple days in Dublin before moving on. We did the Teeling tour and really liked it. Very informative and the missus even found a whiskey cocktail she liked.

I rarely drink anything anymore. I’m not against it but I just never do. Wednesday night my daughter and son-in-law wanted to grab a drink after dinner in downtown KC. That was the best Old Fashioned I ever had.

Yep, knew where you were before I saw the second pic. That's a really impressive wall of booze they've got there at Pierpont's in Union Station.

@BilletHead remember stopping in there??
