For those who don't know what Jig Fest is....  it's a gathering of OAF'ers at Riley's Station on the White River every winter season.

Most of us throw jigs but that's not to say some of us pack the fly rod.

We usually catch tons of trout and eat some real good food.  The fellowship isn't bad either.

So come and join us if you can.  And watch for our reports!

I copied and pasted this from the previous thread on jig fest in case the post got "lost" as a result of a new thread.

I would like to participate in jig fest if it's alright with you guys.  I do not need a room for the night because I live in Lakeview and can just drive over....  I do not have a trout boat but am more than willing to pay for gas, bring food and drinks, etc.....  I do have a bass boat, so I could also trade trips with someone out on Bull Shoals and Norfork once I learn those fisheries better (I moved over here in July and have only fished Bull Shoals once so far) if someone is interested in that. I enjoy fishing with zig jigs a lot, but have not gotten to fish them out of a boat yet.  I've fished them wade fishing quite a bit since I moved over here though.....   I also like to jerk bait fish and wouldn't mind throwing one some if I had the opportunity.....  Thanks.

And expect plenty of boat seats available.  Do come.  It's a big river, plenty of places to fish and it really is a more the merrier thing.  Great people and real fishing knowledge willingly shared.  Plus good eats, fellowship and just an all around good time.  Did I already say do come?
