I agree Brett.  I am up to my neck in fishing because of this forum that I googled several years ago to do some lurking for info on walleye on the river

Yep, I too have met a bunch of really terrific guys on here, and still have some I really want to fish with.  Seems like there is just not enough time in the year to fish with everybody I'd like to across the Ozarks.  I'm also the world's worst at getting the ball rolling on a fishing get together...I don't usually plan more than a day or two in advance, so a lot of times I end up fishing solo because it's too late to invite anybody else.

Maybe an anglers connection area on the forum?  I try to post up a placeholder a few days before I head anywhere. I've seen another site that has a connection area where guys looking to partner up or fill seats in a boat can post up and get together.  

I've met a few guys from on here so far, and there's a bunch I'm still trying to sync up with.  All great people that I've met thanks to Phil!
