Sore Thumbs Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 They always say to look out for the guys that have one or two rods on the deck. Obviously I'm a threat to no one. Ha 176champion, magicwormman, crazy4fishin and 6 others 9

Sore Thumbs Posted February 18, 2017 Author Posted February 18, 2017 Prepared for anything I guess. Have a Spinnerbait and drop shot that I left out of the picture. I'm headed to Grand tomorrow. Plan on power fishing tomorrow. Having trouble locating them right now so I'm gonna hit a bunch of spots instead of staying in one area and grinding it out. magicwormman 1
1farmer Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Jerk bait early, square bill midday, lower to mid section of lake, enjoy. magicwormman and Champ188 2

Bill Babler Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 I don't have a single one of those tied on for my trip tomorrow. Just shows how diverse this lake can be. Good Luck and have a great time out there. crazy4fishin and Sore Thumbs 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

I'm with you on the left hand reels. I am right handed and never understood why darn near every right-handed guy uses a reel with handle on the right. Most every one uses spinning reels with he crank on ge left hand, so why not baitcaster a? I figure you may want your strong arm on the rod, and you don't have to switch hands after the cast. Actually my dad is the one who started me with left hand retrieve baitcasters. My guess is that the first baitcasters were first made with right hand retrieve and every one just stuck with that. snagged in outlet 3, magicwormman, Joenothum and 1 other 4
MOPanfisher Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 That's the same reason on spinners for most using them left handed. I have always used left handed spinning reels and 20 years ago switched bait casters to left handed as well. Still have one right but it is because it has some sentimental value and mostly because for as seldom as its used it just isn't worth it. I can fish with about anything except a spinning reel with the handle on the right side, about like trying to throw a basbeall wih my off hand, just weird. magicwormman 1
