I bass fish plenty from the end of May through October. November is for chasing deer. From December until May, I'm pretty much after crappie, trout and then paddlefish during March and April. Some of us like to fish for more than just one species of fish. These are all from this week. I caught a bunch of trout during the day on the 15th, but didn't catch any worth taking a picture of. You can read my report in the Upper Taneycomo section if you would like though. I've also posted the info on our snagging in the Tablerock section. Unlike some of the forum members who seem to think that the only thing worth posting is pissing and moaning about other people fishing "their" waters, there are some of us who actually post details to try and help others out.

Seth...didn't mean to sound like an arrogant jerk with that comment, but you kinda called me out. lol

It's all good. I'm sure I come off as an arrogant jerk too. I just call it confidence.

One 20 incher Seth, not 20 inchers (plural)

I wish

That's still one more 20 incher than I have caught in a while! My longest that I boated last year almost 19" and it was one of those long, slender summer fish and only weighed around 2.5 pounds. The fall before last was the last time I broke the 20" 4# mark and I've only done it twice in my life. I can't say much.

Wow!   A lot to catch up on here I was busy fishing

I would normally be jealous, but I can "almost" honestly say I'm glad to be at work today just to recover from the past few days.

I don't know much about paddlefish, or any other kind of fishing. I really only fish for bass on streams, if I had more time to fish, maybe I would do some other kinds of fishing, but realistically, I would most likely just do more stream bass fishing. lol.

Sounds like stream fishing is just part of all of your outdoor activities so maybe that's why some of those things don't bother you as much. It's my passion however.

Sometimes I wish I was a more well rounded outdoorsmen, maybe when I retire.

I don't catch 20 inchers all the time. I just happened to catch one a couple weekends ago. Seems like there were more of them around in the 1990's, but I don't know.

Those paddlefish are beasts though

Seems crazy to me that this started by Hog Wally showing off a few pics of nice smallmouth he caught, something he has done how many times in the past.  Kind of like throwing a rock at a stray cat every other day, then one day the rock hits the dam cat in the head and everyone loses their minds.  Keep showing he pics sir, I enjoy them.

A little late to this. that's what happens anytime Aaron, Scott, Mitch or even Paul post a picture of a great fish especially if its caught on the craw! How dare they right? Just fish and be happy.
