cheesemaster Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Yikes. You can count me out. Not that I ever planned on going in the first place. Lots of crazies out there.
Ketchup Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 read that the other day. Gotta carry when your in that area i guess. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
abkeenan Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Why anyone in their right mind would fish that lake anywhere close to the Mexican border is beyond me. Lots of good lakes in this country to fish where you aren't in immediate danger of being gunned down like its 1870. Champ188 and mixermarkb 2
Sore Thumbs Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 I've been there twice without any issues but there is no way I'm going back.
Biglerma Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Yeah I've been there 3 times. Caught some absolute monster bass out there, but this was about 10 years ago that I had my last trip. My dad lived in McAllen TX for a while which is in driving distance so we would go when I would come down to visit. Dangerous place for sure.
Flysmallie Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 The really good lakes are about 70 miles southeast. But Falcon is much safer than those right now. That's too bad because there aren't any lakes in the states that compare. mixermarkb 1
