Members kvo113 Posted April 4, 2017 Members Posted April 4, 2017 Tournaments still being won on the A-Rig at Lake of the Ozarks, just wondering if anyone is still catching fish on it at Table Rock. Water temps were 53-57 at LOZ, I haven't been on TR in a while but sounds like it's pretty close to that. Not that I want to have to throw it, just wondering if I should even have it on the deck.
likinmo Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Caught my only keeper of the tourney last weekend on an A-rig at TR...threw it 50% of the time i would say. It will catch em but it will wear you out if you do it all day lol!
Ketchup Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Used it on Pomme Saturday. Caught some good sized whites on it. That thing wears me out after an hour. Then I have to spend the next 2 hours finesse fishing to get over the back ache. crazy4fishin and marcus 2 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

Bill Babler Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Talked to several guys that fished the AIA on Sunday and practiced on Saturday. The A had been winning everything in that derby the last two tournaments. Not so much this last weekend. The guys I talked to said they wish they had put it down much, Much quicker, as the fish were just not having it. One of the guys I talked to was in the top 10 in points going into the derby and skunked on the Rig. Did weigh in one on a jig. Most said the jig and the jerkbait were much better this past weekend. It is hard to put down when you are fishing for money and points and every winning stringer has been on it up until now. At this point, I'm pretty much done with it till Fall. dtrs5kprs Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Time to cut em off and tie on the Ploppers. Time to cut it off and tie on the fin. There, I fixed it for you. magicwormman 1
mixermarkb Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Fin, well, actually it's the rapala waker, is already tied on. Loomis PR844c Sammy is tied on, and caught a spot yesterday. Loomis MBR782c Plopper 130 needs to go on the Falcon Super Duty, the Plopper 90 is already on the other 844c. I'm a bit of a topwater fiend. If they are at all catchable on top, I'll stick with it until I make it happen...LOL magicwormman and dtrs5kprs 2
