A few nice fish from last week in the Lower Peninsula. Bragging? Of course. This is a fishing forum, right?

Those are beauties!!    What method did you use to catch them?

Little black stonefly with plastic bead dropper.  Hit mostly the bead, which is afixed a couple inches above the hook.

I've only been going to this stream for four years, having been introduced to it through my friend, who has fished this area for decades, without a missed year. 

So, I feel it's not my place to name this stream in a public forum. It is not unknown, but it is off the radar enough and somewhat difficult to fish, that it keeps its special nature.

I understand joeD. I don't ever tell anybody about the tributaries of the Muskegon, Pere Marquette, Manistee, AuSable, Bear, Platte, Boardman, Willow Run, Canyon Creek, The Hopkins, etc.  And that doesn't count the downstate or Lake Huron side rivers.  If you want some U.P. tips you can go find them yourself.

Hey, I really don't care. I am sure I know plenty of places that I will share  with anybody . I asked for a river, not a tributary or a GPS location.  You enjoy yourself sir.
