Beaver just passed flood pool.  Looks like they really increased the outflow.  It had been steady at 920 in the tailwaters and it is now 936.

Yeah that ain't too recent.  That's before the renovation.

It's not even painted yet in that shot and the new side barriers aren't in place.

KY3 just said they just opened flood gates at Beaver dam releasing 45,000 cubic ft. They also said table rock was rising .5 ft every half hr before beaver began this discharge . Not looking good for Table Rock , and especially those below .

Well, there's that! And the fact that the picture was taken in what appears to be sunlight, which we ain't seen today! And the water wasn't that high at sundown today.

Hoping for the best for everyone downstream, situation is looking pretty serious with the James River still rising, Kings River and Long Creek still rising, and Beaver Lake now at capacity with rain still falling.  Going to make a run at the record elevations it appears.
