AFTER THE FLOOD, KEEP YOUR EYE OPEN FOR COOL STUFF

Recommended Posts

Kiddos and myself are all rock hounds.  Our little creeks we frequent also had some fast water events, and they've been finding tons of fossils.  My oldest found a rock full of like 7 or 8 different fossils.  Mostly Crinoids and other fauna, but the last storms really turned over some awesome rocks.  Still hoping I can find some arrow heads.  I have never found one in the wild...

We usually get out on the eroded banks of rivers in TN. Indians were so thick many years ago that relics was out all of the time.

I thought Ice Age relics were usually found more in the area around the Missouri River and its tribs.

Yes JD ice age stuff is found along the Arkansas river in Oklahoma. Got a friend that have found Giant Bison skulls and mastodon/mammoth molars like pictured above. After big floods and water releases he walks the sand gravel bars. Paleo points also,
