Johnsfolly Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Marty I am sorry to hear of Richard's passing. But as you said he is no longer in pain. Now is the time to look after his family.
Ham Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 I'm glad I got to spend the time I did with him, but it saddens me that I won't ever get to spend time with him again. He was a good man. I understand the natural order of things, but I hate it. Mitch f and snagged in outlet 3 2 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Ham Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 From this Spring. Richard had recovered from his (first) stroke and was in great spirits. WE had a Great trip. Richard said that despite his medical problems the past 12 months had possibly been the best of his life. He had re-built his relationships with his children and was on his way to reconciliation with his wife. I was of course Super Happy for him and certainly thought we would fish together again this year. Johnsfolly 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Johnsfolly Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Ham Those are great memories. I've never met him, but knowing the folks that he surrounded himself with I am sure that I would have liked this man. Thanks for posting those photos. Mitch f 1
Ham Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 He was an outstanding individual just like yourself. He was Disciplined and meticulous with his boat maintainence which I believe came from his years as a private pilot. He built some of his planes and refurbished others to use or resale. His boats were always kept clean and ready to go. There was a place for everything and everything was kept in its place. I could never do that, but I appreciated that he could. humble guy too. He was a very accomplished angler, but you had to drag it out of him to find out about it. Soft spoken and slow to anger, but I imagine he was a handful of you got him truly angry. I'm going to miss him. We are made poorer by his absence. Johnsfolly 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
