When it gets lizard hot, shallow areas like the Campbell Point ramp lose all of their oxygen, so "releasing" them there is no better than tossing them on the ground in the parking lot. And they're already stressed from the livewell/weigh-in experience. It all adds up to a death sentence. :(

"Lizard" hot.

I like it.

I like it a lot.

Not the hot but the term.........

An old fishing buddy in Jessieville, Ark., should be credited for that term. No one else could say "Boy, it's jest lizard hot" with quite the same country drawl as Gary.

If you ever noticed the hotter it is the more lizards you see roaming about...hence Lizard Hot

I notice it all the time since I cover a lot of ground throughout the week.

I saw the biggest skink I've ever seen last week.  MDC says they run to about 10.5 inches and this boy was easily that long but he was FAT.  I tried to catch him but no luv.

The dead bass...aren't just at ramp area...where there are a handful...we have seen them floating all over the lake so not sure if related to tournaments...we just came back from swimming off the bluff straight across from ramp...and there were two nice ones...bigger than anything we'd caught so far...we fished til 11 or so this morning...ned, spook and shaky heads mostly...found a bunch of small ky bass..and I mean small schooling this morning by pt20

Biggest came off a Ned early this morning...youngest caught it...thanks Dave and Dan...near lunker landing this morning...I'm gearing up for the pass out this afternoon...and planning to turn lights on tonight til 2am

2hours of scraping the bluff across from Campbell point...resulted in 1 16 inch smallie on a pbj jig...with baby Bush hog tel...and a handful of goggle eye.  I am definitely a glutton...for what it's worth...parelling the bluff worked better than a 45

We're doing best along the bluffs with a jig...also small worms and tubes are catching everything from catfish to bluegills...but better bass have came on jig...near a lay down...big fish this morning was 18inch largemouth...also nice smallie on a jig...short fish on sliders and fish dr

Not doing very good on gravel...We're probably too shallow...trying to fish 15 to 20...we'd caught couple good ones on neds...but they're pretty few and far between

I got a question...we are marking a lot fish on the bluffs in what I would call the 2nd ledge  in about 25 feet...about 10 to 15 yards off bluff in parts...from there it goes to a 100 feet or so...

what is best way to catch those fish?  A drop shot?  I think if we tried to drag them...we would hang up constantly...thanks for help if you reply
