tho1mas Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 The Hanging Judge Phil said guilty as charged. After two years of intense investigation the lack of humming birds around my home has been solved. The investigation revealed the Fishing Wrench has been running a humming bird safari in northern Christian County. This can be back up by post about 12 ga. & # 6 shot earlier this year. The trial had to a bench trial because no OA members would take time away from fishing or were afraid FW would not give free advise or work on their boats. He (FW) had scheduled two character witnesses to testify but neither showed. BilletHead was on his way to the trial but saw a furry critter cross the road and run through a patch of fungus. So much for going to the trial for him. The other character witness was that Follys guy. He to was on the way to court when he cross a small creek and thought he spied a rare Small Eyed Guppy in a riffle down the creek. He was last seen hauling butt with his minner bucket list and a seine. The punishment for this crime is three fold. The most severe is fixing that ugly deck as seen on this forum. Second most is teaching typing and spell checking around LOZ (I may attend). Third is that FW can only work on four stroker outboards for the rest of his life. The photo is one of his safari thugs in the act looking at the unused feeder. Oh the doldrums of late July. Regards Johnsfolly, Bushbeater and BilletHead 3
BilletHead Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 You have all the bases covered there Tho1mas! Doldrums is right, only saving grace is we are gathering hummingbirds by the day now. Enough the Mrs. has added feeders to spread out the bullies that stand guard to keep the timid ones from feeding. I sure wish I could train our little birds to spear hovering Japanese Beetles in mid flight. Need all the help we can get to kill the little hard shelled brightly colored stinking, leaf, flower and berry eating turds. Johnsfolly Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Tho1mas - guilty as charged, I can't pass a creek or stream and not think what could I catch in it LOL! Even have my wife thinking every creek she drove over on her way to Georgia that it would be a spot for me to fish. Fished for minnows in Big Piney yesterday and will post about that trip later . Is it hard to get hot wings made from the hummingbird? I prefer dragon or damsel fly wings fried real crisp. lee G. Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 I dont want to be critical here, but I think Wrench is over gunning with a 12 Ga. and 6 shot. I have always used a S&W K22 and .22 cal snake shot, I find that more than enough. Johnsfolly and BilletHead 2
