Leaving at midnight tonight, heading south again for a week of vacation with my fam, and I'm freakin pumped.  After my stupid busy summer this is my relax and fish vacation... No theme parks, no set schedule, just beach every day, fish every night. 

Brother-In-Law and I have a Shark charter booked for Tuesday night, and we're both bringing our big gear with us to surf and pier fish.  Hoping to fish every day and night I'm down there, Kings are running and Pomps are hitting good from the surf, so hopefully I can maybe fill a cooler this time too.  

We're fishing with Off The Beach Shark Fishing.  They kayak out about 600 yards at night(big brass ones) to drop bait for the big boys.  They've landed some absolute monsters, including some 12ft and 14ft hammerheads and some big Tigers, Bulls, and Mako too.  

Goals are to catch one that weighs more than me, and also I want to get the "ride it like a bull" pic pulling the snout back.  GoPro will be running, and we're bringing a ton of light with us too so hopefully I'll get some good footage.  I've caught little sharks before but this one we are hunting for the big ones, and hope we get hooked up.  

I'll dump pics here hopefully and try to post up a daily recap.

Last night was pretty slow... did catch a nice blue fish,  but mostly pin fish and other bait stealers... saw a few small sharks get caught,  a nicer king,  and a few Spanish, nothing really big though.  

I fished the pier as surf was really rough last night.  I'll throw some pics up, but other phone is dead..

Prolly won't keep any.   mostly all cpr for me unless we catch some pompanos or whites.

Blue fish from last night.  Caught some live pin fish for bait tonight.  Hoping to get hit on the big rod.

I live to catch those bait stealers! Keep the reports coming buddy. I hope that you get into a big shark from the beach. That would be awesome! I hope that your girls are getting into some fishing while you guys are down there.

First pin fish fish lasted all of 5 min and got smoked.  Left with just the head... Gone through about 6 or 7 that way... We've also caught 2 remoras on the bait rod. Funny looking fish.
