snagged in outlet 3 Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 Which line do you use, Gavin?
Gavin Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 Pete, I use Suffix hi-vis braid in 6# test/2lb diameter...Its a lot stronger than 6lb test and casts a country mile. snagged in outlet 3 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 Even with an Alberto knot I am not having the best luck with Nano. And this is my second go around with it. I don't have a problem detecting bites I just like how far you can throw the braids relative to flouro or mono.
MOPanfisher Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 I have had my issues with the albright knot on the leader connection. I went to additional wraps and it seems to be working better.
Jim Elam Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Try FG knot with nano Seth 1 Jim "The obsessions of others are opaque to the unobsessed, and thus easy to mock...If we are lucky we all have at least one."
Old plug Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 I use 20 lb pro braid for a few things on spinnng outfits. I have found that 20lb braid when bottom jigging can get twisted even with a swivel. . It also happenen sometimes with wacky and tick worms. It can also be cause a lot of problems in both those applications by getting fowled on the rod in a windy situation. I will continue to use it however for that kind of fishing.

That knot is amazing and it's easy to tie after you do it a few times. The Alberto was my knot of choice until I found the FG knot. Hi Viz 15# Power Pro with an 8-10# fluorocarbon leader is my choice for bass fishing most of the time. I've got a medium-light crappie setup that I keep 6# test on that I will sometimes use for when I'm throwing a grub or a NED rig. That rod gets used for shooting docks for crappie than bass fishing though.
