OK - lets get back to fishing and reporting....right now I am boat less so I figured I would come to work....not to productive as I am on many fishing sites and not really working :)...so I thought about a quick survey.

1. Where did you fish - doesn't have to be TR

2. How did you fish? Boat / bank / Kayak?

3. Conditions i.e. air / water temp water clarity

4. Method that caught the most fish - of course pictures are most appreciated.

Have fun!

I have a stratos ss extreme.  Last time I went out I caught most my fish on a jig a couple weeks ago. Water temp 82. I fish mostly TR out of Holiday Island or Eagle Rock but do fish Beaver on occasion. I also like to go down to Dardanell somtimes and other small. Lakes in that area.

In the last 15 years I have owned 4 boats, fished Beaver twice and Bull Shoals and Taneycome once each, and fished the upper end of Table Rock often during three seasons of the year.

1. I fish last Monday and Tuesday on a private lake in Mound City, KS

2. Out of my boat, a 2012 Stratos 189 VLO

3. Temps were in the mid to high 80's both day with more clouds than sun the first day and a mix of both the second day. Water clarity was about 4'.

4. Monday was my first time ever fishing the lake but caught them a variety of ways with a swinghead and Keitech Crazy Flapper accounting for most of my fish. Also caught a bunch on a dropshot 4" cut tail worm, a Yo-Zuri 3DB Pencil, and 1 larger fish on a Deps 175 Slide Swimmer.

Tuesday was very calm and lots of fish were cruising the shorelines. I caught a majority of my fish sight casting with a wacky rig or Ned, including my 2 largest of the day.

Neat thread.

I hate summertime and if i cant get in the water i can't take the heat.  So, i spend most of my summer wading and floating the upper big river. Fishing is good for numbers of smallmouth bass, most 8-12" in length, bigger than 15" is a really good one. My personal best from that stretch was an 18" sm and a 19"lm.

1.) Upper big river.  Above leadwood.

2.) Canoe/wade

3.) Cool and clear.  Usually bout 5ft viability.  Main river/creek stays fairly cold

4.) Top dollar (any small walker or buzzbait).  Keitech swing impact 2-4".  Weightless wacky worm.  And 4" drop shot worm on a small ball head jig (Jig worm).
