It's one thing to post those on a fishing forum where 95+% of the people either hunt, or are supportive of it. I do not understand posting pics like that on facebook where my family members from new york and my friends from college and any number of other people who don't hunt are going to see them. Where you see a great November day, some of them are going to see three dead bambis, and are liable to judge you and the sport accordingly. I'm not saying that's right. I'm saying that's how it often works. Here's an easy fix for those who don't like to see that type of thing coming from my FB account. My photos are for friends only so unless somebody screenshots it and resposts it, only my friends will be seeing them. Judging by how many likes I get when I do post pictures such as this, there are far more people who do like seeing my pictures than don't though. Riverwhy 1

I personally enjoy having friends/acquaintances with a wide variety of viewpoints, and even some that I wildly disagree with on a lot of things. rumrunner 1

Well there are currently 1165 of them and most of those are friends with me stricly because we share a passion for hunting and/or fishing so I'm not too concerned about losing friends.

Being wasteful with wildlife is the only thing that really burns my butt. If you are the guy that shoots one deer and lets it sit in your freezer and never eat any, then you make that list. If you kill and legally tag 10 deer and it all gets eaten, then you do not make that list. We kill 8-14 deer a year between my family, but we also spread the load out across several farms. Most of those deer are kept for our own use, but we also give a few away to some needy families that aren't able to hunt. In fact, I think we could easily give away every deer we ever killed to those in need and none of it would go to waste. If you don't like the current limits, take it up with MDC. Most people are going to stay within the legal limits so MDC really has the final say on how much of a resource gets harvested. Poachers are scum and won't give a lick about any type of limits anyways. By the way, something must be wrong with me. I posted this picture last year of me and a buddies opening morning. It was merely to show that we had a great morning and harvested multiple deer. He recently lost his hunting ground so I invited him along to hunt with me and he was able to harvest a big doe and a buck to fill his firearm tags. One of the does was mine. Had I been by myself, I'd have only taken one deer because I don't enjoy cleaning multiple deer at once. That was probably the most fun I've ever had on an opening day. Seth you blood thirsty SOB.....how dare you offend any PETA people with your heinous pictures on social media....The ironic thing is it seems like most PETA people would be more concerned about saving a feral cat who wonders into Busch stadium than an unborn human being aborted. You are a twisted dude Seth......shame on you for giving the harvest of Whitetail deer a bad perception to any PETA people on FB. I always knew you were a sick puppy

I love to hunt, but I hunt for food. I'm also a bleeding heart when it comes to pets. We have two very spoiled dachshunds as well as two cats and I care more about them than a lot of people I know lol. Smalliebigs and ozark trout fisher 2

The MDC sets the limits on game and fish and this State has some great angling. If a person legally wants to harvest a limit then so be it. Not sure what the point of your post is. Do you object to folks harvesting and utilizing fish and game? Are you claiming that these pics represent lawbreakers? If I knew at the time I would have, no information on where or when game was taken....don't know if game laws had been broken...most are from a person in Arkansas, yet they could have driven to Louisiana to take game....my point of the post is what is enough?....the "I don't see as many ducks as before"...or "I never catch fish like I used to".... well if people harvest like that ...thats why.........I don't object to harvest and using fish and game, yet history is rife with OVER harvest to the ruination of lakes, rivers and huge swaths of habitat, .....but dumping 1000 snow geese in a ditch, or dumptering fish that could be used as food-give the Antis far more to use against us....the general public that doesn't hunt or fish sees this and we as outdoorsmen get besmirched.....if you can kill 20 deer..should you? or perhaps take a wounded warrior hunting, or a young would be hunter and share the hunting bounty that way... 8 hours ago, Riverwhy said: MoCarp - You should officially display your Fake News card when posting pictures without context. I can assure you those pics are real..never said it was a game violation... and I am sure the persons that do this get a little salty when someone says hey man, go a little overboard?....its like the drunk that gets shown his wreck or where he barft on the floor....not illegal to party or get drunk....but we are always on trial in the court of public opinion MONKEYS? what monkeys?
