         Another good one!,

I actually thought of you today. River is out of it's bank and flooding into the duck marsh and making some nice backwaters. I took my wanabee duck boat and little surface drive unit for a spin. The carp (common) and buffalo were wallowing and feeding like a heard of pigs. Did not take the fly rod. My thought was "What would Drew do" HA! I could just see you stalking the big scaled fishes with your kayak,

Yeah I'd probably lose my mind.  For sure I'd be going back tomorrow with the fly rod and some hybrid flies to drop beside them.

If it wasn't for needing to help my deceased buddy's widow with some things I would be there. The fish are enjoying the flooded green soybeans, millet and smartweed. Funny watching them swim between rows of green corn stalks too. River ha crested and beginning to fall fast. By the time I get back it will of all changed. Will never do a scouting trip without the fly rod again,

Well that's not good.  Sorry to hear.

Lesson learned.

Cool video..... I wish I had your motivation when it comes to making these videos. I do a lot of dirt bike racing and have made quite a few cool videos but it's so much easier getting good bike footage to edit. It seems like doing fishing videos takes a lot of my time away from actually fishing.

On a sidenote.....Man I need to learn to fly fish! Catching those carp on the fly looks like a blast and I  Iive in a perfect location for it.  I'm only a few miles from the Missouri river and lots of small sloughs. More carp than I can handle and I never fish for them.

I can not agree more with this statement.  PW makes some awesome vids, and I wish I had his dedication.  I have soo much gopro footage dumped onto a hard drive, and maybe one day I will finally get around to editing it...  Nice vid as usual PW!

Once I have the footage I have no problem sitting down at night and editing. (I'm not great at it but I'm not terrible either.) It's actually getting the fishing footage that I don't like doing.  It's a chore from a yak for sure. I always plan on it but on be I'm on the water I just wanna fish!😊
