Spy Baits

Saw that spy baits played big in the last two Elite events.  Anyone using them with success for suspended fish on Table Rock.  I am curious about the set up.

Wish I could say yes, but I can't. Seems like a no brainer, but it just isn't.

I get bit every time I throw it, but I have caught more Big panfish than bass. I am not short on patience, but I can't throw it for 30 minutes w/o losing my mind.

Think the big difference is that most lakes where it works have grass. Up north and in Japan. Just a different dynamic.

Only time they have worked for me was on schooling top water fish one spring.  But those fish will bite a lot of stuff in that situation.

They do at Stockton a long with big crappie. Haven't had the same luck on tr though.

I bartered mine away to Ham some time back. At least they are Now in the hands of a spy bait certified angler.
