Harps Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Nice smallies! I can't imagine catching any musky, let alone a 48-60-incher and not getting a photo of it. So far I can only imagine catching one period.
Gavin Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Head North! You won't be disappointed. Did a week at Camp Quetico end of September. You rarely see anyone unless you fish a lake with boat in cabins or a gateway lake to Quetico Provincial Park. No Musky up there, but plenty of big dumb smallmouth, pike, and walleye. Lake Trout available too. Lake trout lakes are more fun. The bigger bass love to bust cisco's on top.
Al Agnew Posted October 28, 2017 Author Posted October 28, 2017 No way I can go up there and fish lakes when the rivers are that good. I'd about ten times rather fish a river than a lake...plus I don't like portaging! MOstreamer 1
DADAKOTA Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Some real bruisers. Congrats on a great trip.
Dan Kreher Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Saluki -- is there room in your canoe for a Missouri angler interested in Hoosier smallies? I have your fishing pliers from Castor Clean Up last spring (pre-flood). If you take me fishing in Indy next summer, I'll be sure to bring them with me. Great to see you're acclimating well to your new home waters.
