I don't ever remember the leaves being this thick on the water during September. It's still green everywhere but yet the rivers I fish frequently have a massive load of leaves.

top_dollar Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Fishing on the lower meremac is good right now around valley park, castlewood, and emmennegar (sp?) Park under 44.. I like when its so low cuz i can scurry around the banks and catch them with some luck. Ive been catching black bass, white bass, and drum using jerkbaits, swimmin minnows and jig worms.

I just got off a run from stclair to meramec caverns and back. Not even a touch on the bottom of my boat. It keeps dropping too. I'm planning on putting a gauge in here that I can see with binoculars from my bedroom window so I can decide if it's fishable. I'm gonna call this level 0".
