Poor Champ.  We were on TR when he got the news.  Champ had just said he was going to text Keith and see if he could get some small split rings for a bait modification when someone texted him with the news.  It wasn't pretty.    

Keith is a great guy.  Hoping this was a planned retirement and that he's happy.

Sad news. I'll definitely need to grab a few mouse spinners before they are gone, but other than those I've pretty much fully converted to Nichols anyway

Champ, any insight as to what you think may happen with this bait with a new manufacturer.

My best hopes are that the news release is spot on and that Keith will remain the head of the operation, or at least directly involved with production on a daily basis. In that case, I can’t see any change that would be noticed by the consumer.

But if Pradco attempts to cut costs by changing materials or processes then I can’t see the outcome being favorable for us the anglers.

I was told that will be temporary. He is going to oversee for a while then he is out. Probably going to be made in Alabama at some point.
