TroutRinger
Sounds like an inside job. Somebody had the tracking information of the guns or something else of value going through the facility and knew when to go. And since when are UPS facilities not monitored with some sort of security system or cameras? They can’t even tell when it happened. Come on. jdmidwest
Hard to say, need to look at sale bill next week to see for sure what was in shipment. jdmidwest
Has anyone near Springfield seen any reports of this? I did pick this off a news feed. You would think someone would be squealing about it locally. I guess it could happen any where. Any major retailer could be a target around Black Friday, hunting season, or anytime they send out a major flyer. Just jog down to UPS with a forklift and load up a few days before. fishinwrench
The federal government is offering a 25k reward for info. Not UPS? Really? How many guns are "mysteriously" gone ? Why are WE paying for info when these shipments are undoubtedly insured. I hate these games. tho1mas
Chief Grey Bear
If you understood the game, you wouldn't hate it. Paying for the info has nothing to do with the insurance payment on the merchandise. Holy cow! jdmidwest
Yep. That is a lot of guns that could end up in the wrong hands. The reward has nothing to do with insurance. jdmidwest
I am wondering why this shows up in a Nationwide gun blog, but not in local news?
