If it is where I'm thinking, there should be some cardinal shiners and maybe some redspot chubs around there ! You know that gets my interest piqued! Have been trying to get out fishing with Dan down around that way. No I haven't but I know he and I do frequent some of the same areas so in the future we may need to try a trip together. Suppose John I could guide you but you would have to tell me what some of the fish are that we catch. I will even wave the trophy charge on micros ! May have to get the gram scale from the kitchen and the micrometer from the shop for accurate weights and measures . 11 minutes ago, Johnsfolly said: Here is one of my favorite spots. This does have smallmouth in it as well as some other fish. If this is near where you think Dan took the picture I may be way off? Ok i get it now you favorite spot has nothing to do with one of Dan's and mine. I do not fish in one of Dan's favorite spots much any more. Too many strange things go on over there now. No the fish and spot that I posted are much closer to home. Here are a couple of micro photos near where I believe that Dan's photo was taken. Dan may be able to tell from the bank where the sculpin photo was taken. You know that I am always willing to correct you on your fish identifications ! Glad to hear that you are willing to waive your guide fees. May have to take you up on the offer !

Old plug Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 I do not have a favorite spot. Spots do not mean anything die to all the variations in ured in fishing. I do have a a favorite area however. That is anything above the Hurricane Deack bridge. If you cannot catch bass up there, you will not be able to catch them anywhere on LOZ
