That could've been a buf.  I caught all kinds of nasty things in that stench.  I just went through some old pictures to see if I could fine them.  Then my boss walked in

Just for clarification, Jim Lang’s nickname is The Plumber. 

I think his legs are still stained brown from that water.   I’ll look next time I see him. 

One of the bufs Jim caught is the line record or fly rod record. I don’t remember which

been below truman when people tossed buffalo in the riprap to rot, stink so bad could hardly fish....seen fish dumped all along the bank and boat ramps at most of our area lakes, in a word wanton waste, eat it or toss it back as a rule, bigheads or silvers, keep all of them just dispose of them properly if you don't want to eat them

Hi Gavin - Doing well!  Snagged always gets excited this time of year; anticipating an early thaw and a run south to help keep the Asian carp population in check.  We hope that one day our native species will return and fishing will be what it once was 10+ years ago.
