Gavin Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Glad things are going well Jim! Will have to hook up with you and Pete for a trip after tax season.
moguy1973 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 I was looking at the MDC pictures from CCL and the nets they are using have pretty big spacing between the netting which is going to work well for the larger fish but it looks like any carp less than 8” long are going to be able to swim right through them. I know they aren’t going for 100% eradication but those little fish are just going to get bigger. And I’m still not believing Asians don’t reproduce in lake environments. There’s way too many fish in CCL to have gotten there solely due to flooding. MoCarp Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 in other parts of the country live 'shad" contaminated by silver carp can move fish in to new waters, many people do not have the skill set to tell fish apart, much less something as close as young silvers vs shad, some states ban the use of cast nets...signage and education could help MONKEYS? what monkeys?
