Thought of Ham fishing the Pacific waters with this tank of rockfish ! Good looking and great eating fish!

Livie really liked getting close to the piranha as well. I think that this was one of the best set-up tanks in the aquarium. Another South American favorite fish of mine is the peacock bass.

           Think of me when you catch another sculpin, I still wonder what they might taste like. Will there be any where you are going?

Yeah not sure how trained the aquarium staff is and I'm sure they were told to stock the tanks when it first opened ready or not. I think they lost their huge freshwater ray in the walkthrough tunnel along with I know a few giant crabs.

Whooo huge freshwater ray is still there not sure where he was hiding the last time I was there

Cool thread guys. Thanks for the pictures. Gets me excited to spend the money.  Looking more towards the water side.

I’ve only been they with wife and kids. One day I want to wander the animal side and read every placard. The transition from pre-historic to native to buffalo hunters and Teddy Rosevelt could easily take 2 hours to read and comprehend. 

I would love to thumb thru teddy’s book under glass in the replica cabin.

We went through both sides in just under 5 hours. If I do that again I would go through one portion in the morning, go out and get lunch and then go back and go through the rest. Since they scan your tickets at each part instead of tearing it shouldn't be a problem going off site to get lunch. Only issue may be parking !

My personal favorite was the Zane Grey movie when the ocean just comes alive with bait trying to get away from what I presume to be a school of tuna.  I thought it was an awesome place.
