If my fish pics bother you, you might want to remove yourself from this forum because I'm getting ready to make it painful for you  to watch.

LOL Right on, brother!

It’s busted. I get the grayed out thing saying ‘you’ve chosen to ignore...’ and then the post is right below. But regardless, I’ve learned to do an old school physical ignore, and that keeps it more enjoyable. But there’s a limit.

Okay so I gotta figure the ignore button out.

Yeah, keep posting the fish pics, I'll do my part also.  I enjoy seeing other people catching fish, and I enjoy hearing the stories.  If the other guy is catching more and bigger fish than I am, it gives me something to shoot for.

When someone is out there killing it , I'm inspired by their success.

I enjoy a good forum troll more than most. But to be a good troll you need intelligence and wit. This guy needs to go back and get his troll game polished somewhere and come back and try again.

Ignore feature, when it works, isn’t really all that useful because people continuously quote the ignored person and you can see that. Just ignore the old fashioned way, and they will eventually go away on their own. They need the reaction and will shrivel up and die without it.

I think maybe whitesnoop may be onto something here.  A forum without pics, explanations, advice, or bragging it would be solely  dedicated to . . . . . .   Well I guess advertising? Also you would really hate the "what's cooking" thread.

Seth- I can't believe you question me acting like an adult when you just used the phrase "hard on" on a public message board.

Note to everyone out there:  If you don't approve of Hog Wally's constant attention seeking or Seth's sharing of fishing info (that he thinks is so amazingly helpful), then you are simply immature. Not capable of acting or thinking like an adult.

You should drag your mind out of the gutter and realize that "hard on" doesn't always reference something sexual. To save you the trouble, I even looked up the meaning of how I used the term for your reading pleasure. If you don't already understand what having a hard on for somebody is, I imagine Googling for information is not one of your strongest skills either.

While you may not find anything that I post helpful, I guarantee that I've helped far more people catch fish of a variety of species than you could ever dream of. Since you have yet to answer the question that I've asked you multiple times, why are you even on this forum if you hate seeing fishing pictures and reading information about fishing that has been posted by others and that may possibly help another angler out? That is literally the whole point of Phil starting this forum.

I know some people on here hate when others post helpful advice and claims that it's not very helpful anyways, but I will post this anyways.

How to ignore annoying people
Step 1) Mouse over the users name until you see this and then click "Ignore User"

Step 2) You should then see this. Check all four boxes and then click "Update Preferences"

Step 3) Enjoy never seeing posts from this user again!
