I use Trilene XL 2 or 4 pound.  I also like Vanish 2 pound.

I use maxima ultra green in 2 and 4lbs.  They used to make 3lb line and it was darn near perfect as I could even sling the lighter jigs with it.  Not sure why 3lb isn't more common... Use 10lb braid at night when we are hunting for big ones.

2-4# Pline CX Premium in moss green or Pline Floroclear in clear if I can't find the CX Premium.

I did buy done 2 lb for Micro fishing, but 4 lb P Line CX Premium is as light as I go. Normally sling jigs on 6 lb Nanofil with 6 lb P Line leader.

I've caught 1000's of trout on that set up, but I'm totally fine with guys doing whatever they want.

Do you using  leader or tippet material when using the polymer line.Never used braid or polymer before to add a piece of tippet or leader. How long should the leader be?

I'll answer for Braid only as its direct to lure. Palomar knot and have yet to break anything off with it.  I only use it for stick baits though.

Run 4lb at night for jigs, and leader on the fly rod.  Could prolly got to 6 or 8lb, but never feel like swapping spools.

Maxima still shows the 3# on their website in the Oneshot spools. I like the Ultra Green but 4# is as small as I've used.

Dang well I never was the smartest crayon in the box to go check their website!  I just had a harder and harder time trying to find it and once I couldn't find it anymore at BassPro in Springfield I figured maybe it was discontinued... I could always find the tippet spools but never the One Shots.  Thanks TJM!  You made my day.
