MNtransplant Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 To most folks rain in the forecast is a bummer but when I woke up this morning to thunder cracking, I looked at my phone and saw rain in the forecast for 4 of the next 5 days and I got super pumped. Let's get those creeks warmed up and flowin'! Who's ready to get after it this spring? BilletHead, MoCarp, ehertz and 2 others 4 1

Let's get those creeks warmed up and flowin'! Who's ready to get after it this spring? My buddy and I are planning a sucker trip on Sat. Want some rain to get them staged at the creek mouths. I don't fish them enough to know what would be too much rain. Looks like 2 to 3 inches likely where we're going with most of the rain expected tomorrow.
MOPanfisher Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 If the rains get the sac up, be sure to toss in a walleye rod when you go. MoCarp 1
bwcballer10 Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain! My wife and I fished Sunday 2-18-18 in the Aldrich area and surprisingly we caught probably 50-60 of the little male whites (only 1 what I would consider filletable size fish). It was still a ton of fun though! I think this rain should get them staging at the mouth of the river. I can't wait to get after them this spring! BilletHead and MOPanfisher 2
