Put that 50 pound bag out toward yur fingertips and extend your arms, oh and do it with no look of strain on your face.

Every time I carry two 40 pound bags of salt into the basement I think of that photo. I don't believe that's 50 pounds or his fingers are really strong.

B,b,b,but he's got the picture of it!!! Pictures don't lie?

Truth, the thing does look like a mount. His leg position is awkward to support that weight but his elbows are against his ribs and its only meant to be 25# in each hand.

That's a lot of salt you got in your basement already.

I'm beginning to  wonder if those are really carp, or are they just blow up balloons ?

big carp like that are uncommon, but we do have pockets of great carping in our area, many waters are still untapped potential, huge carp like other fish act very different they their smaller brethren a fish 20# and up are old and common carp can live a very long time, they get savvy and are very hard to fool if you want to learn more just look up Carp Anglers Group on FB, places methods etc...and quality photography is a passion with more than a few Carpers.

here is a nice apple scale mirror from dale hollow just a few days ago, think it was a low 30

I can see they don't flop at all. Very cooperative for the camera. And smiles too.
